Alright...To get started

Ok, then...Well, this is my first post on blogspot, but that's all cool. As most of my friends know, I'm not responsible enough to post everyday, so I won't have continuous postings. yep. That's me.

Just a quick note: Today in the story below means Wednesday, just for reference.

So, my plans for this weekend. I'm already starting to dread it. Apparently, I have to go to Maya aunt's house for her baby boy's 28th day thing on Saturday. And that's in the morning. Here's my dilemma: should I wear a Punjabi dress and go, or a Kurt and jeans? If you're wondering why I'm stuck here, it is because I have to go and help my friend, Prashanti, at her arangetram that same day...in evening though. And I'll probably have to leave from Maya aunt's house to CCA (chandler center for the arts). So, we have to be there by 11:30 and stay until a long time. Her arangetram starts at 4:30, so it will only end by 8. Then they've invited us to the reception, so I'll be there longer. Don't get me wrong. It's not like I don't like Prashanti or anything but last time, when I helped at Sanju's arangetram, all I did was help her change during the program, and before it, put out all the jewelry and things. Wow, what a bore!!!! I'm anticipating that that's not what's gonna happen at Prash's 'cuz her mom and my mom are like best dance-mom friends...lol, luv the new name. And I kno that for that day, I'm wearing my peach and tan colored choli. WOHOO!!!!

Alright, done with my almost fully planned weekend. Now to this week. My luck actually changed from yesterday. But lemme actually start from the beginning. Last weekend, there was a bhajana at Geetha Aunty's house. Obviously, I went with my family and had loads of fun. But the story starts after the bhajana was over, the men were playing cards and it was only Trupti and I left...and my mom and Geetha Aunty. I told Tru that I wanted a digi camera, but I didn't kno if my parents would lemme have it. I asked my mom then, if I could have a digi camera for exceeding 2 of my AIMS and being short by just a couple of points for exceeding in the Critical reading section. And she said yes, and I rejoiced. I was completely and utterly elated at that unexpected answer. So, then on Monday, I realized that I had forgotten to ask her what here budget was for the camera. I asked her when she came back and she said 100$. I was like crap, that's not gonna get me a good camera. But then, my dad's like, what are you talking about? Why is she getting a camera? And even if she is, she's not getting one that more than 39$. I was so pissed. But still, I tried to get my dad to change his mind. I looked up some cameras that I might have liked, but the only cameras I like were 200$+. So, I went up on e-bay to look at the camera I wanted. There, I found one for 222.50$, which was 76,50$ less than at Costco, which had the least that I had looked up. So I told my dad, and he was still like no. So, then all day yesterday and today I refused to completely talk to him and ignored him as much as I could. My brother became the mediator if my dad wanted anything from me...lol. Anyways, so, I went swimming today, and I decided that I would pursue the subject with my mom, who still promised me 102$ this time. When my dad still said no, I personally think that, when they went to go and walk while we swam, my mom persuaded my dad to buy me the camera bcuz when they came back, he asked my what the camera was like. I described it to him, and, if you can believe it, HE AGREED!!!!!! WOHOOO!!!! OH YEAH. I was so happy. But I might not be able to get it until later 'cuz we have to go to the casio store first to see if their price was higher or lower than Costco's. YAY!!! I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy! And I thank my mom for this...altho I had to give up my 16th b-day gift for the camera.

Yeah, so I think I wrote a lot already, for a first post, so I think I'm done.

By the way, if anyone is wondering what I was doing up so late, I was just bored and decided that I would write some stuff in my xanga and then, I really don't kno why, signed up here and wrote my first entry.

Oh, and we went to the Casio store at Arizona Mills. It turns out that its a lot more expensive there than at Costco...so I'm getting it from costco most likely. YAY!!!
